YLN participated in several very important scientific international gatherings that provided a platform for promoting sustainable development through the UN 2030 agenda and focused on the exchange of ideas aimed at solving global challenges.

  UNOG Global Leadership in the 21st Century

Conference on Global Leadership for the 21st Century” again with the United Nations in Geneva, focused on the need for new forms of dynamic and transformational leadership to accelerate progress on key global challenges, including the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals. YLN actively participated, providing youth opportunity for engagement and also contributed for the second time with his ideas and solutions for sustainable development and the 2030 Agenda.

WAAS@60 Conference and General Assembly 

The World Academy of Art & Science: A PLANETARY MOMENT”, presented the 60th year of the Academy’s existence, which was founded in 1960 by prominent intellectuals including Albert Einstein; Robert Oppenheimer, Bertrand Russell; Joseph Needham, co-founder of UNESCO; Lord Boyd Orr, the first FAO Director-General; Brock Chisholm, the first Director General of the WHO and many others. The emphasis of the conference was on civil society, media, young people in creating a sustainable global society. YLN participated in sessions that highlighted the importance of youth in creating a strategy to strengthen global influence and change.

Youth Leaders-21 Mobilizing Youth Networks and Social Movements

Youth Leaders-21 Mobilizing Youth Networks and Social Movements was organized by YLN in collaboration with the World Academy of Art and Science and the UN Office in Geneva. This conference brought together key leaders from international organizations and youth movements to prepare for the Global Leadership 21 Summit organized by the UN Office in Geneva and the World Academy of Art and Science. Through the intergenerational discussion, our association got the opportunity to contribute to solutions and shape future guidelines and regulations that were subsequently adopted by the UN as well as its member states in their actions towards positive changes.

Through the HS4A UN project, we participated in the largest sustainability events in the world, such as EarthX and the largest technology event in the world CTA (Consumer Technology Association), we collaborated at conferences of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) is an international organization of national parliaments and many others where we offered solutions for human security and sustainable development as young leaders.

YLN’s participation in these events contributed to strengthening international contacts, promoting interdisciplinary discussions and enabled young people to actively participate in shaping the future of society and the world.
